Free Now are Scammers. Please Avoid
I was recently scammed by this company after a ride. I interrogated a 25% added tip which I did not include at the end of the ride and was told it was irreversible and nonrefundable. They said I had triggered the tip at the end of the trip which I disputed considering the ride was extremely unsatisfactory in the first place. Please avoid this company at all costs
Disgrace of a service
Disgrace of a service. I've used it before largely without issue. On this occasion a service provider with limited English just said "no I don't understand where you want and don't want to do" despite the eircode being inputed. I called back no answer or responce

I booked a driver, he cancelled the ride.
I’ve been charged the full amount.
I’ve sent endless amount of emails, with no response!
It’s a SCAM stay away!

I was given an estimation of £16-22
Plus I had the 50% voucher
They charged me £40.60 and don’t even. Spoke to them they said they gave me £10 off as the discount. And Uber, was charging me £17 for the trip, I make this trip every week. Disgusting service, got ripped off.

Very bad experiences (because I was keep giving them another chance), but never again. The drivers always takes ages to get there. The estimated pick up time keeps getting longer. The driver is turning around and around with his car and driving in an opposite direction of the pick up point. After 15 mins waiting for the pick up I cancelled the ride. It is ridiculous! (Bear it in mind that most of the time I only order a car, because I wouldn't get there on time by public transport, so it is not good enough that I have to wait for a car 15 minutes only to be cancelled at last minute...) They also dont have customer service, not even a chat or phone number. Just a robot chat which understands nothing. Rubbish!! Absolutely NOT recommended!!

Scammed twice in the same day
Scammed driver abuse the fact that I dont speak german to double charge me he pointed to his cellphone asking for money when I left the car my bank notified me that I got charged AGAIN for the same trip, support asked of receipt of the scam, EXACTLY, A RECEIPT OF THE SCAM!
In another trip in the same day driver took the 'wrong' path by 'accident' making my ride way more expensive.
So remember kids if you get muggle by a Free Now driver ask for a receipt for them so they can reimburse you.
NEVER USE FREE NOW! I had two rides and two scams in the same day.

Rip off charges
Disgusting. Daughter ordered a taxi and accepted £27 quote but was charged £40. She didn’t feel able to argue with the driver as a female on her own. Has since complained to be told the calculation is correct. The fee works out at £5 per mile! She was able to get on Uber from Manchester to Nottm on a Saturday for about £1.75 a mile, this was a short local trip. Absolute disgrace, avoid!!

A taxi driver refuse to take us to the hotel.…
A taxi driver refused to take us to the hotel because of the short distance.
He said to go to the departure area as he said there will be a lot of taxi over there.
It was not possible for me to drag all my baggage to upstairs but especially with little kids.
I thinks this old taxi driver needs to learn first how to talk with people nicely and secondly to be honest and say “I don’t take you to the hotel because it’s just short distance”.
Eventually, we got a another taxi in the same arrival area. This time this taxi driver has no problem with short distance. Above that he was customer friendly.

Cancelled again. Am tired of it
I love the way they charge you if you cancel a ride, but the drivers cancel all the time. Pre booked and otherwise. Terrible app. The passenger has no recourse because unless you take a screen shot of the acceptance, you dont have any details on which driver screwed you. Take a screen shot and then complain. You will have his name and the plate number. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Horrible app. Do not use. If you need a cab/taxi for very serious appointment you will missed. As the driver will not arrive. Looks like fake. I was late for my appointment because of them. DON'T USE THEM

Absolutely awful experience
Absolutely awful experience.
I had to go to hospital with a split open head. Driver knew this as soon as I got in, didn't tell me it was a problem and then when I got out at a&e, I checked my emails and he'd charged me a £100 clean up fee. At no point did he point out this policy or tell me to leave the cab.
I didn't actually leave any mess, but FREE NOW decided to take his 'evidence' as final and would not listen to any kind of dispute.
Zero compassion, zero empathy, money grabbing charlatans.

Worst app and worst service. Free Now Sucks
Although I have attempted to book a taxi numerous times with Free Now, I have never been successful. Usually I receive a message, not always, that a driver was not found. And the message comes at the time I wanted to be picked up. So I don't have a chance to book with others. I will not take a taxi with the Free Now emblem on it, I will not prebook or book at taxi from Free Now ever. Your app sucks and so does your service.
Horrendous. DO NOT USE
Horrendous. Twice I have pre-booked cabs for myself and my young baby and twice they have failed to turn up or cancelled last minute. As in literally the minute they're supposed to turn up. Today they left us stranded in the freezing cold despite 10 mins prior showing the accepted booking in the app. Absolutely horrendous and no shame. Zero care about their customers. Hope they go bankrupt

***Update 26th January*** company reached out to apologise & investigate matter further. In hindsight I have had good experience previously with app and previously mentioned experience is isolated incident.
22nd Jan taxi ordered for 2am, taxi arrives, i was bringing my near 80yr old parents down an apt. block to meat him and he cancels (via app) just as we get there.. the taxi was no more than 5 min waiting.. taxi driver did not make attempt to ring me. Very disappointed..
